04 Oct 2026 Beginners' Workshop Wrap Up
Hi all,
Thanks to all those Wuccies who came to the University today to support the participants in the latest Absolute Beginners Workshop. The event was enjoyable and, I thought, very successful. Huge thanks, also, to the 17 'newbies' who enrolled on the Workshop. They were good, enthusiastic learners, and I was impressed with the progress that they made, evidenced by them singing and playing the chords to a couple of songs (Achy Breaky Heart and You Are My Sunshine) without ukulele support from us! Well done, the 'newbies'! Hopefully, we will see a few of them come along to Club on Monday evenings and metamorphose into regular Wuccies!
Thanks again, everyone!
Cheers
Trevor
