Early June 2015 - First Worcester Ukulele Club CD is finally released
Our Club CD 'Five Years On' is here at last!
Some players may vaguely remember Saturday 28th Feb 2015, when about 50 club members got together to record our first CD - it must have been the largest Ukulele gathering in Worcestershire ever!
It was great fun on the day, and massive thanks should go to:
Recorder: Ian W
Directors on the day: The Naughty Corner
All players: Too many to name! (click here to see which players appeared in which songs!)
All cover and artwork 'suggesters' (see further below)
The club committee commissioned production of 200 CDs, and want club members to benefit directly, so eligible players please come along, tick your name off on the club register and collect your free CD over the next few club nights. The CDs are free for all who contributed... and there are a few over for club regulars who couldn't make it on the day of course :-)
This will leave us with approx 130 CDs to sell at gigs.
Notice the bonus track 17... which was recorded early 2014, and includes some club members who couldn't make the 'Callow End Session'
...some extra resources related to the 2015 CD production are listed below for posterity and printing... ENJOY!
