9/11/20 Children In Need Zoom Get Together
What a fantastic evening organised by the evergreen Rosemary and enabled by Trevor, Colin (the younger) and others. 114 people turned up on the night from all around the UK, mainland Europe, USA, Canada and Antigua!... and at last count, £1600 has been raised for Children In Need - Wow!!

16/03/20 Clubnight cancelled Monday 16th March and Monday 23rd March
Due to the ongoing Covid19 situation, the WUC committee has taken the difficult decision to cancel clubnights on 16th and 23rd March.
For all you Ukers out there who will now suffer Ukulele withdrawl symptoms, don't forget there are plenty of WUC videos to play along to on the WUC Uketube... also, if you fancy, why not record yourself playing a song at your place, and put it on the WUC Facebook page... similar to what these lovely people did: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/world-europe-51886547/coronavirus-italians-sing-from-their-windows-to-boost-morale

16/02/20 More Ukers!
HI all, Many thanks to the Wuccies who braved the worst that Dennis could throw at them and came to support the 18 participants at our Absolute Beginners’ Workshop. I think it’s fair to say that the event was a success, with the highpoint coming at the end, as the newbies played and sang Da Doo Ron Ron to us gnarled, old, seasoned players. We may well be getting a few more new members coming along to WUC over the next few Mondays. You may be able to tell who they are from the great WUC name-badges that John H made: thanks. John! 02/02/20 Merry Christmas!
Hi all. Huge thanks to Jean and her army of helpers for organizing a very enjoyable palindromic party today (02,02,2020). Excellent food, music, dancing and games kept us away from any upsetting rugby news! The next palindromic date will not be until 12,12,2121 so it's just as well that we made good use of this one! Thanks to everyone who brought and organized food, the games organizers, the dancing instructors, John and the party band and everyone who came. See you tomorrow. Allan.
