13/12/15 Drummonds Bar Worcester, Club Xmas Party
4/12/15 Oldbury Park School Uke Club Christmas Performance
Since September, several Worcester Ukulele Club members have been running a Uke Club for the children at Oldbury Park School, Worcester. The club runs on Tuesdays between 3.15 and 4.30, They have made great progress this term and were able to perform at their School Assembly on Friday 4th Dec. They sang Jingle Bells and Rudolph the RNR. On Tuesday we had a final session for this term and they sang their hearts out to `Must be Santa` and sang Spiderman which we hope they will learn next term!
A very enjoyable experience. If anyone in the club is interested in becoming a volunteer and helping out next year please contact Rob P. or any of the other volunteers. |

The workshop (approx. one hour) will be Fingerstyle Uke:
Arrangements using fingerstyle techniques can make the ukulele sound like a whole “orchestra,” with melody and accompaniment played at the same time! Students can expect to work on learning a picking pattern, incorporating the melody into the picking pattern and adjusting the picking pattern to suit other songs. Advanced tickets only - contact us.
