10th Sept 2012 - Keystones Worcester

Richard G, member of Adelaide Ukulele Appreciation Society and owner of the excellent Richard G's Ukulele Songbook website, announced that he would be coming to the UK and would welcome the opportunity to play ukulele with some clubs while he was over here. He was duly contacted and the 10th Sept was fixed as a date.

This simple e-mail exchange saw a normal club night turn into something a bit special and Worcester played host to over 100 uke players and fans with representatives from not only Worcester Uke Club but also Kiddermister Uke Club (SUSA), Bridgnorth Ukulele Band, UkeStroud and Swindon Ukulele Club (please let me know if we've missed you out) taking over Keystones nightclub.

The evening also had great support from Music 47 who donated a Fender Ukulele to be raffled in aid of charity.
